Dr Hari Kumar Unni has 15 years of surgical oncology experience – planning and executing major multi-organ resections for advanced cancer. He is fully committed to the ideals of multi-disciplinary tumor board based management of cancer. He routinely performs HIPEC surgeries for advanced ovarian cancer and is committed to the accepted quality standards of the procedure.

Special interests

BREAST CANCER (including breast conservation surgeries and breast reconstruction surgeries).
Management of Gynecological (UTERUS, OVARY, CERVIX CANCERS) and gastrointestinal malignancies (STOMACH, COLON CANCERS).
Head and neck cancers (including ORAL CAVITY, PAROTID and THYROID CANCERS).
Management of extremity and retroperitoneal SOFT TISSUE SARCOMA.

He did his general surgical training in JIPMER, Pondicherry and has more than 15 years experience in department of surgical oncology, Amala and Apollo Hospital, Kochi.
